Soldering irons for electronics, wiring and heavy-duty applications

A soldering iron matched to the task prevents cold joints on delicate PCBs and delivers enough heat for heavy cable lugs. This range spans 15 W precision irons for electronics work up to 500 W heavy-duty models for plumbing and industrial connections, all operating on 230 V European mains.

Bahco offers temperature-controlled irons at 50 W and 80 W with adjustable ranges from 200 to 500 degrees Celsius, allowing precise heat management for lead-free solder and sensitive components. Each Bahco model ships with a European plug and soldering stand for safe parking between joints. The fixed-temperature 40 W model at 375 degrees provides a no-fuss option for general wiring work.

Facom contributes the 1230B electronics series in 20 W and 25 W for fine-pitch soldering, plus the 1116C switchable 15/25 W iron for mixed bench work. Higher-power Facom models at 300 W and above handle roof flashing, gutter joints and thick cable terminations. Choose wattage based on the thermal mass of your workpiece: lower for components and wire splices, higher for sheet metal and structural joints.
